A small bar in central Sofia. Three beans on rotation, hand-poured. Wooden room, regulars who linger, no playlist.

Cratera is what's left when you take a coffee bar and remove everything that doesn't taste like coffee. No syrups. No menu boards. No background hum.

The room holds twelve. The bar is a single slab of oiled oak. The grinders are old and loud and we like them that way.

Ethiopia · Guji

Hambela

Bergamot, white peach, honey on the finish. Washed process, light roast. Best at 92°C.

Colombia · Huila

Tarqui

Brown sugar, ripe pear, milk chocolate. Honey process, medium-light. Sings as espresso.

Kenya · Nyeri

Karatu

Blackcurrant, cane sugar, bright acidity. SL28/SL34, fully washed. The room favourite.

Come in.

The bar opens at sunrise and closes when the last bean is ground. Walk in, sit at the counter, ask what's good.
